Orbetello rises on a thin strip of land located into the middle of the coastal lagoon. It's a nice village with shops, supermakets, restaurants, bars and cinema.

Orbetello was an old Spanish garrison , now you can go for shopping, for eat a very good ice cream, for go to cinema or restaurant. Very beautiful the cathedral and the square with clock.

Orbetello is a historic town in the Maremma nature reserve. There's a lagoon with flamingoes and the town is pleasantly flat for walking.
