Go to the East River, take E6th all the way and croos over the highway (FDR) once you are on the boardwalk, you can walk or bike along the East River to the financial district, along the way you will go under all three bridges, You can walk the Brooklyn Bridge, or you can take the Staten Island Ferry (You do not need to buy a ticket!! It is FREE!!!), The South St. Seaport, you can explore the financial district, Trinity Church, The Oculus, Freedom Tower, 9/11 memorial North Pool, Museums and and and so many things to see. It is really beautiful if you time your walk just before sunset. It is a really nice walk.

Walk, run or cycle the East River Waterfront with great views East including Long Island, Williamsburg and Brooklyn Bridge! Watch local baseball and football teams compete, play some tennis on the outdoor courts, and/or set up a nice picnic blanket a relax on the promenade for a sunny afternoon!
