Dogs may enjoy the Agua Hedionda Lagoon along with their owners. However, to ensure the safety of others, all dogs must be leashed and controlled at all times, and are not allowed in the water. Owners also must pick up after their pets.

"Located between Tamarack Avenue and Cannon Road, Agua Hedionda Lagoon allows active use, such as boating, water skiing and wake boarding, personal watercraft use, sailing, windsurfing and fishing. It includes three inter-connected lagoons, which are divided by the I-5 freeway and the railroad bridge."

The lagoon is a great spot to go fishing west of the 5 highway. East of the highway you can rent jet skis, paddle boards or just hang out.
