The Roman aqueduct, a trademark of Kavala, along with its castle, crosses it as a backbone, as it rises imposing in front of the visitor, which faces it with awe. Enlightened at night, sparkles imagination as it carries historical memories instead of water.

The old aqueduct in the city center is a unique monument of the 16th century, 270m long and 25m tall. It was used until the beginning of the 20th century to carry the water into the old town of Kavala. It is probably the most important and well known monument of the city.

The Byzantine Aqueduct is the landmark of the city and was built on the 16th century.It is worth visited though the day but do not miss it in the night!

Ομορφιά και μεγαλείο. Πρόκειται για ένα κολοσσιαίο μνημείο που περιλαμβάνει 60 αψίδες τεσσάρων διαφορετικών μεγεθών.Το μεγάλο τοξωτό υδραγωγείο,γνωστό με το όνομα "Καμάρες",μήκους 270 μ. και μεγίστου ύψους 25 μ. αποτελεί το μνημείο-σύμβολο της πόλης.
