Great spot to rent a bike! Beware of altitude. It is difficult to ride bikes if you are not use to the altitude. If you want gravity assisted biking check out Winter park ski resort. Or you can shuttle up lookout mountain and ride apex trail or chimney gulch. Definitely not super easy riding though. There are biking guide books up above the tv.

Bike share program in Golden - Thursday through Sunday - Free for the 1st two hours, only $10 for the whole day. It's located at the Golden Visitor Center, and it has many different types & sizes of bikes. Each bike comes with a helmet, a lock and a key, plus also a Free Water Bottle & a "Golden Ticket" for you to keep.

Right behind the Golden Visitor Center is our new bike library. You can check out a bike for free for a couple of hours and get to know our little town. :)
