Pest-side pedestrian zone between Chain Bridge and Elizabeth Bridge is called Danube Promenade (Duna-korzó). Popular among locals and tourists, fringed with 5-star hotels (InterContinental, Marriott, Sofitel), restaurants, cafés, bars and casinos. Best panorama of Buda with clear and gorgeous view of the Buda Castle, Citadel, Gellért Hill and bridges of Budapest. It is a great spot for enjoying the annual fireworks of 20 August. The Promenade is lined with arts masterpieces, like the "Kiskirálylány" (Princess) sitting on the railing, the building of the Vigadó and the statue of the statesman István Széchenyi by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
