Buffalo Bill's Grave on Lookout Mountain is an easy place to you can drive to for stunning views, gentle winding mountain roads, and light hiking. (I haven't actually done the grave-thing since I was a cub scout. But I love the drive. FYI: Not open past sun-set.)

This offers beautiful scenery and photo ops of the mountains as well as the distant city. The history aspect is also very interesting! The drive here is one of the most beautiful drives.
