Take a guided tour to Birka and see how and where vikings lived. It´s very interesting and easy enough even for quite small children. The guides are archeologists and can really turn on your curiosity and interest! Take the boat from central Stockholm or park the car somewhere on the way and hop on. See www.stromma.se for timetable
