Not really a hiking trail... Years and years ago this was a railway, but it's been paved and turned into a trail for runners, walkers, bikers, etc. that runs from Downtown to Carmel, connecting many great parts of the city. You can access it on our street, 5-6 blocks or so to the East.

The Monon trail goes throughout Indianapolis and Fishers, etc. You can walk it for many miles or ride your bike. I love the Monon.
