Don’t go to the park entrance. It’s a 2 mile hike to the beach. Instead drive past it and take the next left drive to the end and park. Walk directly to beach.

Chimney Bluffs State Park is a 597-acre state park in the town of Huron in Wayne County, New York. The park is situated on the southern shore of Lake Ontario, east of Sodus Bay. From the park's hiking trails, visitors can view the large clay formations at the water's edge for which the park is named. parks.ny.gov/parks/43

About a 15 minute drive from the cottage. Beautiful hiking to see the bluffs from both above and below. You can plan to swim in Lake Ontario but only has basic restroom facilities.

Enjoy the stunning view of Great Lake Ontario and see the amazing cliff formations while hiking over the rock and sand shores. Note* If hiking please Protect yourself from Lyme deer ticks by staying on trails, dressing properly and wearing repellant.
