Mangwon market is a quite lively traditional market with fresh stuff. Especially fruits and vegetables are very good price with high quality. It is quite local, but there are a lot of trendy shop. There are some small local restaurants for lunch, some snack, desserts, drinks, etc. It is not too far from Grey Couch.

The culinary culture of a nation often determines foreign visitors’ impressions of the country. Visitors can experience K-food anywhere in the city prettyeasily.Let’s look at the following three big markets in Seoul where you can taste a whole variety of K-food favored by foreign tourists as well as locals: Mangwon Market, Seoul Jungang Market and Seoul Saemaeul Market. one in Mapo-gu Mangwon Market A 40-year-old traditional market, Mangwon Market is favored by young people more highly than any other market in the city for its latest systems and modernization efforts. ‘K-food’ here is known for a gourmet trip by young people in particular. It isaplace where not only locals but also foreign travelers can experience various Korean foods most conveniently. Among so many kinds of food here, we recommend tasting homemade pork cutlet at ‘BASAK MACHA.’ Don’t bother to look around to find where theeateryis. There is always a long line of people in front of the place. The eatery offers a variety of menu selections at affordable prices. Its homemade cutlet looks as good as it tastes, as well.
