The ice cream shop (Helados Bons) is just a block away. There are also coffee shops in the area, best view is in the afternoon when the sun is setting down. Kids and families come here to run around, eat or just sit down and enjoy the park.

Right in the heart of Puerto Plata you'll find a beautiful church a centerpiece to the city, various shops and many restaurants. Tip: Every day a lovely gentleman provides corn for 5 peso in the center outside the church. Feed the Pigeons for a beautiful experience. He's been doing this for 30 years.
