Windy, cold, and desolate. Quintessential Northern California beach. Driving there offers many nice views. Driving along hwy 1 is beautiful.

Check the tide charts and take a short drive up the Slow Coast for tidepools, hermit crabs, anemones, starfish, urchins - take only photos, please - this place is a real treasure.
