What are the next well-worth Hai Phong attractions? Go for Cat Ba National Park, then. This is an important national park of Vietnam, in general, and northern Vietnam, in particular. Located in Halong Bay, the park is administered by Hai Phong city, and belongs to Cat Hai district.

You can go trekking to the Ngu Lam Peak to see the island from the top. If you are lucky enough, you can also have chance to see the endangered langurs that are just only in Cat Ba. Even, you can explore the nature with 6-hour trekking tour in the forest to the Viet Hai ancient village.

A must go place in Cat Ba, the entry fees is 40k VND and it's absolutely worth it. The hike is through dense tropical jungle on limestone mountains in the heat and humidity which makes it a little tough. But as it not a long trail, it can be easily managed. In the end there is a point 100 m further of the small shelter. Please go till there as it is the absolute end and the Ngu Lam Peak. From there you will see entire island and the view is breathtaking which will make you forget all the tiring hike.
