The Pentland Hills to the south west, the Queensferry Crossing and Forth Rail Bridge along the River Forth, Bass Rock to the east and the Kingdom of Fife to the north. Take a hike up Calton Hill to experience panoramic views of the city. It is an easy hike which will take around 5-10 minutes which can be accessed from a stair case. Look out for some iconic Scottish monuments and buildings - the National Monument, Dugald Steward Monument and Nelson's Monument. Here you can take in wonderful views of the Edinburgh City sky line and Edinburgh Castle. The look out cafe is situated at the top of the hill and is a good spot for a bite to eat.
