There's a nice small visitors center and great hiking and biking trails. There are also some local outfitters with reasonable canoe and kayak rentals in the area.

If you are a birdwatchér or nature lover, take the 7 mile drive back through the wilderness. The visitor center tells you much about the area.

Refuge. You can even drive through. There is a wonderful visitor's center with great installations. Well worth it.
