When we are in the mood for a flat hike/walk, we head to Wonderland lake. If it's a hotter day or peak time of day, you may want to avoid this walk as its not very shaded and can feel a bit intense (heat-wise).

Only a five-minute walk from our location, do a mile walk or run around Wonderland Lake. The park trail also accesses the path that goes along Boulder's Rocky Mountain foothills, called the Flat Irons. Both trails are fairly flat, so they are good for both the young and old as well as more agile hikers.
