This is the spot for botanists. 25 species of orchids and other endangered species such as the dwarf lake iris and the metallic-looking Hine's emerald dragonfly. Five miles of boardwalk and trails. Visitor center with exhibits and classes. $5 trail fee for adults, children free.

Great place to take a hike and amazing area for children to play, with a outdoor mud kitchen for the kids!!

There is always something to do at The Ridges. They are open year-round, and feature exhibits on the cultural and natural history of the Ridges. They have hiking trails and you will be awed by the beauty.

Great gem of Door County - lots of little trails to hike! Cool tower and view of the bay. I definitely recommend taking a hike at the Ridges Sanctuary!
