This is the only public ferry to Protection Island, check their website dingydockpub.com/ferry for Rates to Ride. Time leaving from Nanaimo 10 minutes after the hour coming back, hourly on the hour!

The Protection Island ferry is the only way to get to the island other than by private boat. It leaves Nanaimo hourly at 10 minutes past the hour from 7 or 8am to10pm or later.
