The Scottish-style castle on the Hudson River was built in the early 1900's when purchased by David Bannerman. Take a two hour cruise around the island on the "Pride of the Hudson" tour boat. Attend a lecture on the historic legacy of the castle. Enjoy an "on-island" guided tour of Bannerman Island on "The Pollepel."
Check out bannermancastle.org for information on visiting this unique place. We have heard great reviews - can be accessed via boat from both Newburgh and Beacon.
