Our favourite place in Cowes run by the same team as Coast. Menu is a little limited but the ambiance is lovely and there is a garden terrace at the rear. Judy Dench stayed here when filming Victoria.

Fine dining in stylish surroundings. Also good for evening drinks and jazz and other live bands on Sunday afternoons.

A nice place to have lunch if visiting Cowes, a small hotel, with lovely outdoor eating area. They also have an attractive private dining room (up to 12 people) The front lounge/ bar is a hidden gem for coffee

North House hotel is a redeveloped version of the once (in)famous Rawlings Hotel (you were no one in Cowes until you'd skinny dipped in their pool at 2am). North House is a far more sedate re-incarnation but it's lovely (clearly borrowing with pride from the Soho House group). The restaurant offers small and large plates for lunch and dinner, often using locally sourced ingredients. A good place to take mum for lunch, go out as a couple or for dinner with friends. You can also simply go for drinks in the bar during the off season.

Newly renovated small boutique hotel with a wonderful restaurant. There is also a great bar. We love it but probably a more grown up venue for dinner and drinks.
