If you have the time and want an all day river float, check out Falls City. You can simply show up (by appointment during the pandemic) and they will provide you with transportation, floats, even coolers if you want to rent. It is a beautiful float. I recommend during June and July as it gets a little chilly later in the season.

Take a relaxing float down the nearby Snoqualmie River. Tubes and equipment can be rented in the parking lot right off the highway.

If you are visiting over the weekend it is likely that you will see lots of humans walking around town with tubes. Fall City is a very popular destination for floating the river. It's a super fun experience, although it can be quite the party on weekends and floats can take around 5hours depending on the time of year. We personally love doing this on weekdays, where there aren't soo many people and you can really enjoy the scenery as you float down the river, in a more peaceful setting. Fall City floating will rent you a tube and give you a ride to the top of the river for around $20.

Tubing down the river is a favorite summertime ritual for city and country folk alike. Link up with Fall City Floating, which offers tubes and transportation between the put-in and take-out sites. Or you can go the route of the local, dropping in at McDonald Park in Carnation and popping out at McCormick Park in Duvall. The Fall City route is generally more congested, thanks to the added convenience, while the Carnation-Duvall stretch is more tranquil, but you have to figure out how to get back to your car (Uber?).

If you really want to have a lot of fun. Fall City Floating provides tube rental and shuttle services for floating the Snoqualmie River between Snoqualmie Falls and Fall City.
