Through there is a 'beach' there now, it has a boat ramp to put your kayak or river boat in for a ride. Great park with a wonderful meandering riverwalk and exits up the hill to the heart of Downtown Bastrop.

There's lots to do at the park: tennis, pickle ball, basketball, walking trails, splash park, canoe rentals and a skateboard park.
