The trails take you to beautiful views of the mountains. It is in Marshall about 15 miles from the Lemon Drop. I highly recommend the 3 hour ride to the gem mine located on the property. Will be going again for my 60th birthday celebration!

Sandy Bottom offers horseback riding year-round. We have one hour, two hour, three hour, and four hour horseback rides leaving daily from our stables at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. In the winter months we will not ride if the temperature is below 32 degrees, and sometimes rides will be delayed until the temperature rises above freezing. Our most popular horseback ride takes you and your fellow riders to the world-famous “Little Pine Gem Mine”, located in a remote corner of our ranch. This ride is three hours, and you are free to keep all the gem-quality garnets you can find.

Beautiful, mountaintop vistas while sitting on the back of a gorgeous horse. Experienced guides and well trained horses make this fun for everyone. The views are breathtaking when you reach the mountaintop. They stop so you can take pics up there, as well. No age limits.
