Its warehouse-chic interior—wood meets stainless steel—and open kitchen houses a wood-burning oven from which dozens of wholegrain loaves, sourdough, and focaccia emerge daily. While El Pan de la Chola will flawlessly fuel you up for a day’s sightseeing, you can also stop by for a light lunch of goat-milk cheese and roquette or caprese sandwiches, or at teatime for a blueberry tart and caffe latte.
