Spectacular swimming holes. Lower and upper. But avoid after heavy rain. 18 people have drowned here including a state police diver recovering a drowning victim. Avoid weekend crowds and sometimes its closed so check before you leave.

Beautiful little swimming hole and an easy place to walk around and be around nature. Like all natural swimming holes, it can be dangerous, so step carefully and *only jump if you're 100% confident the water is high enough*.

great swimming holes. LOWER gorge only. Upper gorge is beautiful to observe but unsafe for swimming.
