Nestled in Belfast Botanic Gardens, this is a great way to spend a rainy day in Belfast. Learn about Spanish wreckages, Egyptian Mummies, Neolithic Ireland, The Troubles, and a host of art work. Check their website for latest Covid updated booking system. Opening hours: Tuesday – Sunday, 10am - 5pm…

Always hosts great exhibitions. Explore the Botanic Gardens there too.

The Ulster Museum is free to enter and has several floors of all the old stuff you'd expect to find at a museum, though my favourite part is seeing the Egyptian Mummy Takabuti in her open sarcophagus.. :)

This is Belfast & Northern Ireland's main museum and is a short walk from our holiday house. Come face to face with dinosaurs, get up close with an Egyptian mummy, dive into the discovery zones, or just enjoy some food in the excellent café! Admission is free.
