Cedar point beach or the East Beach are great summer spots. You could also go over to Lake Calhoun and rent a paddleboard, canoe, or kayak to paddle through the "chain of lakes"

There are beaches on the other lakes, but the beaches on Cedar are a little quieter.

This used to be called "Secret Beach" but then everyone found out about it. Lots of shade and relatively calm (compared to Lake Calhoun).
