Farmer's Markets are here on Saturdays! Walk straight up G Street five blocks to get there. It's surrounded by really great shops: Yogurt, Jitterbean, toy store, thrift shop, and a couple of really nice gift stores. Brio Cafe sits on the corner. Great outdoor seating.

Make sure to walk to the Arcata Plaza (15 minute walk). This is the center of town surrounded by cute local restaurants and shops. Did you know corporations are not allowed in the city of Arcata? That's why the town is so cute and has so much character!
