Free Admission and worth the trip for anyone at any age. Beautifully landscaped and clean. A wide variety of animals. Our favorites are definitely the giraffes. You will be amazed at how large this zoo is. Don't forget to drop a donation on your way out!
Please donate as they don't charge. They've done such a wonderful job over my years here~which is many~let's keep them going on!
An awesome zoo for being tucked into the coast of NJ. What's better? Admission is free, donations appreciated. Give a few dollars and spend the day!
Cape May County Zoo is one of the best around. It is situated back in the woods and they take great care of the animals. I have been going since a little kid and still love to go whenever possible.

“The Cape May Lighthouse is both a working lighthouse and a museum of maritime history. Restored, maintained and interpreted by Cape May MAC (Museums + Arts + Culture), the Lighthouse hosts nearly 100,000 visitors a year who experience a visit to the top, participating in a century old rite of a visit to the Jersey Shore. For those who choose not to climb, the Oil House contains a fully-accessible visitors' orientation center and a Museum Shop stocked with maritime accessories and memorabilia.”

“Built in 1840, this former Cape May plantation residence is now home to the acclaimed Washington Inn and Wine Bar. The Washington Inn offers six unique dining areas, from a summer patio to cozy fireside tables. Cocktails are a must in the Wine Bar and food is outstanding. This is a great place to celebrate an occasion. ”
