A hike that is not too far from our townhome. If you are tired of crowds or just want to get a view over the valley, then check out this hike. Some elevation gain right off the get go.

Wonderful hike starting in Moab valley south of town. Hike begins with rapid ascent to top of Moab rim, where it levels out for easy hiking in gentle valleys filled with Juniper and tall grasses. Hike can be an out and back or a through hike if two cars are used: one at Hidden Valley Trailhead and the other at the Moab Rim Trailhead.

This is a quick steep hike from the Spanish Valley floor to a quiet oasis called Hidden Valley tucked behind some red rock cliffs. On this hike you will find petroglyphs and the remains of ancient Native American towers.
