Let me refer you to a jeweler who can bring your vision to life. Don’t forget to bring your passports as they can give you tax free shopping. Not only will you find extravagant jewels here, but you can also find some exotic spices and other souvenirs. Beware some vendors will constantly haggle you and will often sell items over priced to tourists. Take the Al Jadaf metro straight to the Gold Souk.

Traditional gold souq with lots of jewellery, gold, diamond, fresh herbs, fabrics etc. in the old and original Dubai Deira where Dubai back then started. There is also the old Deira harbour with lots of traditional wooden trading ships. One of my favourite things to do there is to go there in the late afternoon, walk inside the Souq towards the river and take one of those old wooden water taxis over the river during the sunset.
