This museum is located in what was the cloister of the San Agustín church next door. The central baroque patio is among the best examples of baroque architecture in the country and has been featured on Mexican currency. This patio is a must for art and architecture lovers. The museum houses a permanent collection featuring many 18th and 19th century paintings as well as 2 or three traveling exhibits.

Visita el Museo de Arte, enmarcado por el claustro del convento de San Agustín. No dejes de admirar ahí excelentes obras de los pintores Miguel Cabrera y Cristobal de Villalpando.
