Peacefull park in the middle of Bayreuth, it is the Neues Schloss garden. On a nice summer day, the lawn will attract loads of students and families there. Otherwise, it is a very calm place to spend some time. For bird-watchers, you can already appreciate a great variety of European birds from this little park, just pay attention to those trees and be patient. Birds there are used to the presence of humans so they are easy to spot as they don't hide like in the forest.

Take a walk around the little city park next to the new chateau of Bayreuth. You can reach the park through the „Haus Wahnfried“, the residence of Richard Wagner. After a little break or walk through you can easy reach the pedestrian precinct with lots of bars and restaurants.
