These earth pyramids were formed a hundred years ago and are constantly changing, especially in winter and spring new columns are formed again and again: The erosion zone lies at an altitude of 1550 to 1750 meters and forms the most important earth pyramid occurrence of the Puster Valley, also because of the so different sized formations.
