Locally owned since the 1950s - a true neighborhood bar with inexpensive drafts and famous for the WV Dog preparation of a hotdog. Sometimes (hard to predict) great live music. Big screen for WV sports events.

This is a true neighborhood spot that is not frequently visited by students. Beer, hot dogs and other snacks are available while hanging out and check out some of the live bands that play there.

This is the neighborhood watering hole. There is a ton of local history here. Best drink prices in town and you are always bound to meet someone interesting sitting at the bar.

Gene’s is small local bar that’s been open since 1944. The beer is cheap and the place is solace for the older townies; the folks that grew up in Morgantown and never left. If you want to know what it feels like to have grown up in Morgantown, go to Gene’s.
