Smart, Airy Gastropub. The High Field has a spacious garden and sunny terrace. There is also public parking on-street and adjacent to their garden. The serve food all day, along with quality draught beers, ale on hand pumps, plus a carefully chosen wine list with quality-variety value.

Less of a pub and more of a posh nosh place on one of my favourite roads in Edgbaston, High Field in my opinion has the absolute best wines and desserts. The menu changes every season and the food is well resourced.

This classic white villa just outside the city centre is home to a smart bar, substantial restaurant and multiple outdoor spaces. Try the Grand Gin as an aperitif or your just-because refresher. A large measure of Langley’s No. 8 is served with plenty of ice, fruit, juniper berries and a premium tonic of your choice and the results are as tart as they are tasty.
