This is usually a much less populated trail but one we enjoy a lot! It is also a mid more moderate than the Kalalau Trail.

The Okolehao Trail on the North Shore of Kauai is a 2.5 mile trail that will give you a workout as you climb to 1,250 foot elevation. The trek is well worth it and you will be rewarded with captivating views of Hanalei Bay, verdant Hanalei Valley, Makana, Kilauea Lighthouse and the Napali Coast.

Can be a tough hike, slippery and muddy after rain (like most of Kauai!) beautiful view of Hanalei.

A 2 mile steep climb up offers beautiful views of Hanalei. The trail is best when conditions are dry because weather can make it a muddy and slick adventure. Tip: a heavy walking stick and insect repellent is recommended.
