Great exercise and sightseeing all at once. You can paddle around the cannery row shoreline and checkout the local wildlife up-close.

No reservations needed. Kayak among otters, seals (MB). You can rent from either Monterey Bay or Elkhorn Slough which is quieter and our preferred location.

If you have some trip budget left, I HIGHLY recommend renting a kayak and heading out onto the bay. Not even kidding, otters will swim up to you and chill.
