Lovely 45 minute walk down to the coral beach, which almost looks tropical (although the weather rarely matches it, so wrap up warm!)

The beach is located just a few miles north of Dunvegan. It’s made from crushed white coral which makes the water look tropical blue when the sun comes out. It’s a truly magical place, perfect for a family picnic or romantic evening walk.

A popular short walk to the spectacular Coral Beaches, one of the most beautiful coastal locations on Skye Good track boggy sometimes followed by a path across grass Nearest transport 5 kilometers

From the end of the minor road beyond the entrance to Dunvegan Castle, an easy 1mile walk leads to the Coral Beaches - a pair of blindingly white beaches composed of the bleached exoskeletons of coralline algae known as maerl.

Amazing beach and shallow clear blue seas. Lovely walk down to the beach and it is fairly easy. Parking at the top. Access to carpark is narrow so be prepared to drive slowly and carefully. limited parking. This is a white coral beach which is well worth a visit.
