Unless you have a pass it is 5 euro a car but welĺ worth it for its mature woods and history. Roches of Donadea is anice pub and takes bookings for grill room (045 869160)

The Donadea Forest Park is definitrely worth a visit. A little more than 5 mins. drive away, and it's a lovely walk. You will find many different paths to explore, and if you're there on the weekend, their little cafe/kiosk might even be open!

Great day out at any time of the year. Have a picnic and enjoy the forest or stop for a coffee in the coffee shop.

Just two miles down the road from Fado, you'll find a serene forest with ample walking paths that is deeply green every month of the year. We recommend the Aylmer walk, which spans 5 kilometers in a big circle through the park. There's also a lovely coffee shop in the heart of the forest if you're in need of a hot drink after your morning walk. Keep in mind that there is a small parking fee that must be paid at the gate upon entry.
