Regular trains to the city. Final stop, Britomart, is close to the waterfront and the ferry terminal. Ferries depart to the North Shore (a visit to Devonport is inexpensive and fun), and also to Waiheke Island. There's been a lot of development in downtown Auckland, and just a short walk from Britomart takes you all around the Viaduct Harbour.

New Lynn railway station is on the Western Line of the Auckland railway network, New Zealand, and is part of an integrated transport centre where transfers can be made to and from bus services. A redeveloped station in a new rail trench was opened on 25 September 2010. LynnMall, a major shopping mall, is close by.

A 15 minute walk to Train underground station and many buses. a 5 minute walk to train stop from house. buy a Hopcard for discount fare prices from the Transport Station or selected shops.
