Santa Rosa is truly beautiful and peaceful. A great family vacation spot. They have a picnic area before you descend the stairs to the beach. Not a lot of parking so get there early. The beach didn't feel crowded at all. Nothing like when we go to Destin, Panama City, or Gulf Shores at the same time of year. Outdoor showers for getting off the sand are located by the public restrooms. The beaches were very clean. By far the cleanest public beach I have been to on the gulf coast.

Just 1.4 miles West on Hwy 30A is Gulfview Heights beach access. There are 22 parking spaces as well as public restrooms, regional lifeguards, and a picnic pavilion. A great place for an afternoon or evening picnic!

This is my preferred access. Turn left on 30 A, then turn right at Goatfeathers. There is limiting parking but you can drive to the access and drop people and supplies off. There is also golf cart parking if you rent one. There is an outdoor shower, rest rooms and lifeguards during the tourist season.
