You probably see cars parked along the road as you are entering town with people walking towards the trail entrance. This is a relatively short hike (2.2 miles?) with an awesome view of the lake. Not too challenging, kids can do it.

The very beginning and very top of the hike are the most challenging and steep, but you'll get some beautiful views of the lake at the top! Parking is the only tough part as people line up their cars on the sides of the street.

You can find beauty throughout this 1.5-mile trail, but the real prize lies at the end of the hike. It culminates with sweeping views of the lake, but also of the incredible mountains that surround. This is often considered the best place to take in the mountains. Not only does this spot provide for some of the best views, but it requires a bit of light exercise. Nothing adds to the pleasure of a pleasant hike like an incredible view. You can find the trail on the southwest corner of the lake off of Big Bear Blvd and Fisher Creek.
