This store is filled with books, gifts, soaps and lotions, home decor and more. There are also three beautiful store cats that roam about inside. There is nothing boring in the store. Louise and Jen will help you find anything you need.

Cited as a "must see" in the New York Times travel section, the Paper Moon is a one of a kind book and gift store located just one block from the Mississippi River! Ken, Louise, and Jennifer opened the Paper Moon in 1994. The historic 1860’s building proudly went green with solar heat in 2009. The Paper Moon has been described as “the ultimate in therapy shopping.” The ground floor hosts a unique array of gifts, including beautiful jewelry, a hand-picked line of cards and postcards, toiletries, household accessories, and tons of bizarre and fun stuff! The second level balcony holds children’s books and toys; the third level is 1,000 square feet of new books.

Paper Moon is an experience in itself! Plan to spend at least a half hour exploring unique gifts, accessories, personal items and books for all ages. We go there specifically to Christmas shop!
