Two hi-tech, self-service bike stations are available, stocked with a total of 24 bikes, including unisex adult bikes (some with child seats), children's bikes (8-14yrs) and soon tandem bikes, one located in Marine Parade outside the Visitor Information Centre and the other located in the waterfront mall at The Entrance. To use the bike hire station, which is secured and monitored by a remote system, customers simply insert a credit card, select the bike and hire period and release the bike from the locks. A central computer server tracks each bicycle hire through RFID technology. Customers return the bike to the same station. Bike hire costs $14 per hour, $28 for up to four hours and $47 for 24 hours.
