Wonderful forrest with trails for everyone. Oak creek runs thru it. Any length hike available and some stunning views on top of dimple hill or McColluch peak.

OSU Research Forests has 30 miles of trails and over 110 miles of roads. Its a popular place for hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers. Trailhead parking gets full on busy afternoons and weekends

This is our favorite access to the extensive forest park. Start on the all-weather trail (Homestead) and stay to the right on all turns as you approach the extensive forest road system to complete a flat 3-mile loop. Or, take any one of many roads or trails by foot or MTB to McCulloch Peak, the Lewisburg Saddle, Bald Hill, or if you are really adventurous, the Oregon Coast!
