In the winter it a great mellow hill for sledding. Summer weekends the church might be open to take a peek inside. No one knows for sure why its round, some say it so the devil can't hide, we think it's great for making up your own conclusions.

“Established in Jericho in 1986 by Bob Pollak (a second generation confectioner) and his wife Martha, the business has grown to include three generations. Handcrafted from recipes that have been a family tradition for over 50 years our chocolates are a Vermont tradition. Our company name was inspired by Jericho's renowned historical figure Wilson A. Bentley, affectionately known as "Snowflake Bentley". A local farmer, Bentley became known for his work in photomicrography. In 1885 he became the first person to photograph a single ice crystal. During his life time Bentley photographed over 5000 snowflakes not finding any two alike.”

“Hard'Ack Recreation Area is winter fun for the whole family! Kick back and let the rope tow get you to the top of the hill. And you can slide down in the sunshine or under the lights. How cool is this?! Hard'Ack is located at 179 Congress Street in Saint Albans.”
