Be sure to visit the town of Metropolis while in the area. From the superman statue to the museum. The kids will love visiting this town if the are into comic books. There are also several great restaurants in the area and local shops.

Quaint local small town of Metropolis, Il. 30-35 miles from us. The Superman celebrations are an annual thing and very big deal for this little river city! Worth the trip across the bridge!
