You can't miss Coffee and Fandisha on the corner of Brick Street namely due to its striking exterior artwork, painted by local artist Paul Curtis. You may have heard Paul's name before from when he first became well known in Liverpool for his mural, 'For all Liverpool's Liver Birds', AKA 'The Wings' located just around the corner from Coffee and Fandisha on Jamaica Street. Anyway, back to the coffee. Coffee and Fandisha opened in 2014 with an idea that stems from the traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony where freshly brewed cofee is served alongside popcorn and 'other little bits and pieces.' Their speciality is of course coffee, but they also serve house baked goods, fancy lunches as well as craft beers and wines, most of which are locally sourced. Inside you'll find a 'yellow wall' which is a space reserved solely for local creatives to dsplay and exhibit unique pieces of artwork.
